Our task was to design water treatment station and to modernise historic buildings located within the Water Treatment Plant in Kluczbork. This is a one-storey building, except for the part where water tanks are located. The building structure and materials we used to finish the elevation refer to the modernised building, in which we kept clinker tiles as well as window and door frames.

We used the following technologies:

  • foundations were made of reinforced concrete benches,

  • foundation walls were made of concrete blocks,

  • water tank walls were made of reinforced concrete,

  • external walls were made of 38 cm thick, POROTHERM 38 blocks, partly finished with clinker bricks,

  • truss-framed hip roof.
